Hi there! I’m Cassandra, an in-home personal chef serving based in Oakland and serving the East Bay.

My cooking style focuses on intuitive eating, sustainable-sourcing, and joyful, flavorful food! With my meals, you can rest assured that you’ll be receiving nutrient-dense meals without restriction!

I hold an MSc. in Health & Society from Wageningen University. During that time, I also completed my health coaching certificate from the Institute of Transformational Nutrition.

Before that, I studied health and culinary arts at The Natural Gourmet Institute in New York and worked as a cake decorator, pastry cook, and baker at various restaurants including Roberta’s, ABC Kitchen, and Baked. I’ve also worked in the nonprofit sector at organizations including GrowNYC, City Growers, and Global Growers Network. As an undergraduate, I studied sociology and sustainability and ran a coffee cart at Emory University. You can find more about my training and background here.

As a personal chef, I take great pride in being able to not only serve my clients flavorful, nutritious food but also give them hours of time back each week for their hobbies, friends and family, exercise, and rest. I am grateful to be a part of so many households’ village.

In my spare time, I love reading, running marathons, and riding my bike around town.
